The Woodards Foundation was recently honoured with the award for best community program in Australia by the Real Estate Institute of Australia.

Accepting the award on behalf of the Foundation, Committee Member Luke Piccolo thanked all the staff at Woodards for helping to build the Foundation.

 “A part of every transaction goes to those in need so this award recognises all our people for the work that they do.

 It’s hard not to be excited about the impact that we’ve had so far.  This includes funding six fully fitted soup vans, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for Vinnies and building our innovative social housing project, Safe places.” 

Looking to the future, there’s still lots of work for the Foundation to do.  One thing that won’t change however is the focus on making an impact and helping to alleviate homelessness.

  “This award will give us the exposure to find more like minded people to form more meaningful partnerships in this space.  We can’t wait to see what 2021 will bring.”
